Appointment Types
New Patient Visit
60–90 minutes. Comprehensive exam, digital X-rays, periodontal probing, cleaning if gums permit, and a personalized treatment plan. Bring insurance card, photo ID, and medication list.
Routine Cleaning & Exam
45–60 minutes. For established patients every 6 months. Cleaning, exam, oral cancer screening, and X-rays if due. Most dental insurance covers this at 100%.
Free Cosmetic Consultation
30–45 minutes. For patients considering whitening, veneers, Invisalign, or a smile makeover. No treatment performed; just discussion, photos, and honest options.
Implant Consultation
60 minutes. Includes 3D cone beam CT scan on-site, bone-volume assessment, and a treatment plan. Free. See the implants page for details.
Same-Day Emergency
Call (208) 344-6300 first thing in the morning for the widest selection. We hold emergency slots every weekday for broken teeth, severe pain, lost crowns, and trauma.
Anxiety-Aware Visit
Tell us when you call if you have dental anxiety. We’ll schedule extra time, place the appointment in a quieter part of the day, and discuss sedation options if appropriate.

Before Your Appointment
For new patients, we’ll send online intake forms via email so you can complete them at home. Save 15–20 minutes at check-in. Bring your insurance card, photo ID, and a list of current medications. Eat normally beforehand unless specifically told otherwise (e.g., for sedation appointments with separate pre-appointment instructions).
