What a Visit With Dr. Mack Looks Like

New patient visits with Dr. Mack are 60–90 minutes. Here’s the rough flow:

1. Introduction and conversation. Dr. Mack spends time understanding your dental history, what’s gone well, what hasn’t, and what you’re hoping to accomplish. Most first visits open with a conversation, not an exam.
2. Comprehensive exam. Tooth-by-tooth visual exam, bite check, periodontal probing, oral cancer screening, and review of digital X-rays.
3. Intraoral photos. Dr. Mack takes photos of anything he wants to show you, an old filling that’s starting to fail, a small crack, early-stage gum recession, so you can see what he’s describing.
4. Honest findings + options. If something needs attention, you hear about it with options. If nothing needs attention, you hear that too. Dr. Mack is not in the business of finding problems where there aren’t any.
5. Treatment plan if wanted. If you want to move forward with anything, he walks through sequencing, timeline, and pricing. No pressure to decide on the spot, most patients take a plan home and think about it for a week before scheduling.
